Graduated from Onondaga Community College: 1987, AAS Music
Apprenticed with Frank Barbuto, Master Tailor and Production Manager of Pietrafesa Men's wear 1986-1989
Attended Syracuse University: 1991, Fashion Design 
Graduated from Syracuse University: 1995, BS Fashion Design.
With designer Jeffrey Mayer created Conovermayer, a high end women's fashion company. Conovermayer designed two collections a year, selling nationwide at stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and many smaller boutiques: 1995-2006
Faculty in the Fashion Design Department situated in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York, 1995-present

Personal statement:

My love of all things beautifully designed and visually interesting is what fuels my every moment. Artistic creativity is a gift that when controlled can seemingly move the earth.  It is my goal as an artist for others to see what I do, and to provoke insightful thought through this shared vision.
